Designed to recognize best practices among not-for-profit organizations in the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky region, the ONE (Organizations of Noteworthy Excellence) program combines an organizational application/self-assessment utilizing proven criteria for excellence with independent, outside feedback in key impact areas. The ONE criteria are adapted from the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Criteria for Performance Excellence and includes three categories – People, Program, & Process. ONE is designed to recognize outstanding performance among local NPOs while also facilitating a recurring process for improvement and organizational development through an annual program cycle. Examiner Responsibilities

Examiners fulfill a critical role in the ONE Award process – the review of applications received from applicant organizations. Examiners are responsible to develop a high quality feedback report based upon the award criteria and application content. The feedback report developed by Examiners through their independent review, consensus process and site visit activities is reviewed by the Selectors to determine recognition for applicants as finalists and process honorees. This same feedback report is then delivered to the award applicant for their use in improving their organizational effectiveness. Learn more about Examiners here.
